What are the advantages of getting a Rhinoplasty surgery?

  • You can redefine the shape of your face by redefining the nose.
  • Enhancement of the whole nose.
  • Correction of any defects in nasal defects and obstruction.
  • Renew and restore a deformed or fractured nose.

Types of Rhinoplasty

Cosmetic Rhinoplasty

Cosmetic rhinoplasty focuses primarily on improving the shape, size, proportions, or appearance of the nose. It may involve changes to the nasal bridge, tip, nostrils, or other structures depending on the patient’s concerns.

Functional Rhinoplasty

Functional rhinoplasty focuses on structural problems that may affect nasal breathing. Depending on the underlying issue, treatment may involve correcting internal nasal structures along with external reshaping.

Open Rhinoplasty

Open rhinoplasty involves an incision on the columella, the tissue between the nostrils. This approach provides greater visibility of the underlying nasal structures and may be appropriate for selected primary or complex cases.

Closed Rhinoplasty

Closed rhinoplasty uses incisions inside the nostrils. It may be appropriate for selected patients when the required changes can be performed through an internal approach. The choice between open and closed rhinoplasty depends on the patient’s anatomy and the changes required.

Revision Rhinoplasty

Revision rhinoplasty, also called secondary rhinoplasty, is performed when a patient has previously undergone nose surgery and requires further correction or refinement. Revision cases can be more complex because previous surgery may have altered cartilage, bone, or soft tissue.

Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty

Nonsurgical rhinoplasty generally uses injectable fillers to make temporary changes to the appearance of the nose. It cannot provide the same structural changes as surgical rhinoplasty and is suitable only for selected concerns.

Nose

Why consider Rhinoplasty?

Some people consider rhinoplasty because they feel their nose is too large, too wide, asymmetrical, crooked, or disproportionate to the rest of their face. Others may have structural concerns that affect breathing.

Rhinoplasty may be considered for:

  • A large or disproportionate nose
  • A wide nose
  • A bulbous nasal tip
  • A prominent nasal hump
  • A crooked or asymmetrical nose
  • Wide or uneven nostrils
  • A drooping or poorly defined nasal tip
  • Nasal changes following an injury
  • Certain structural breathing difficulties

The goal is not necessarily to create a specific “perfect” nose. Instead, treatment is planned to achieve a balanced appearance that suits the individual’s facial structure.

Rhinoplasty Procedure

The rhinoplasty procedure is customized according to the patient’s nasal anatomy and the changes required.

Consultation and Assessment

The first step is a detailed consultation. The surgeon evaluates your nose, facial proportions, medical history, breathing concerns, and aesthetic goals. Your concerns and expectations are discussed so that the treatment plan can be tailored to your individual requirements.

Treatment Planning

Based on the assessment, the appropriate surgical approach is selected. Depending on the case, this may include cosmetic, functional, open, closed, primary, or revision rhinoplasty.

Anaesthesia

Rhinoplasty is performed under appropriate anaesthesia based on the surgical plan and individual requirements.

Reshaping the Nose

The surgeon modifies the required bone, cartilage, and soft tissue to address the planned changes. Depending on the case, this may involve reshaping the nasal bridge, refining the nasal tip, modifying the nostrils, or correcting structural problems.

Closing and Supporting the Nose

Once the planned changes are completed, the incisions are closed. A nasal splint or other support may be used during the initial healing period when appropriate.

Follow-Up

Follow-up appointments allow the surgeon to monitor healing and provide guidance throughout the recovery period.

Who is a good candidate for rhinoplasty?

Rhinoplasty may be considered for adults who are concerned about the appearance or function of their nose and have realistic expectations about the procedure.

Common reasons for considering nose surgery include:

  • Dissatisfaction with the size or shape of the nose
  • A prominent nasal hump
  • Crooked or asymmetrical appearance
  • Wide or uneven nostrils
  • Changes caused by previous injury
  • Certain breathing problems caused by nasal structure

Rhinoplasty Recovery

Rhinoplasty recovery varies depending on the type and extent of surgery. Swelling, bruising, nasal congestion, and temporary discomfort can occur during the initial recovery period. These generally improve gradually as healing progresses.

Your surgeon may recommend:

  • Taking prescribed medications as directed
  • Protecting the nose during the early healing period
  • Avoiding strenuous exercise for the recommended period
  • Avoiding pressure or trauma to the nose
  • Following nasal care instructions
  • Attending scheduled follow-up appointments

Initial healing takes place over the first few weeks, but swelling can continue to decrease gradually over a longer period. The time required for the final appearance to settle varies from person to person.

When to get a Rhinoplasty surgery?

There are different reasons, from personal reasons such as Rhinoplasty for a wide nose to professionalism such as modeling career demands, etc. Here are the top reasons that we have our primary patients coming in for:

  • If you have an asymmetrical nose or a large nose, or maybe a crooked one.
  • If you have a bulbous rounded nasal tip.
  • If your nostrils are wide open or bigger than the usual size.

  • If you have breathing problems.
  • If you simply don’t like the shape of your nose.

I do not advise this clinic for a hair transplant. My experience was disappointing on multiple levels, and the results were far from what was promised. The most concerning issue is that the doctor does not perform the actual transplant work. Instead, he brings in third‑party freelancers from Surat whenever needed. This is never disclosed upfront, and it raises serious questions about consistency, accountability, and safety. A lot of the clinic’s publicity seems to rely on polished YouTube videos rather than genuine expertise or patient outcomes. Inside the clinic, the situation is very different. The staff is minimal — essentially one permanent clinical assistant — and the overall professionalism is lacking. There is also no transparency about the number of grafts implanted. In my case, the doctor claimed to have done 5,000 grafts, but the density and coverage clearly did not match that number. The results speak for themselves, and unfortunately, they are not good. Please don’t risk your time, money, health, or appearance here. Choose a reputable clinic with a strong track record and proper in‑house medical staff. I highly recommend visiting at least 2–3 clinics before deciding. Compare their facilities, observe how many real patients are present, and if possible, speak to existing patients. It will give you a much clearer idea of which clinics are genuine and which ones rely on marketing rather than results.
